About Coast I.P.M.
Coast IPM is a consulting firm offering integrated pest management recommendations for growers and landowners. Whether its insects, disease or virus in your crops or invasive plants on your valuable land, we help you manage, control, and prevent the biological challenges that arise.
We strategically plan together with growers through on-site visits and supported recommendations to build and monitor preventative IPM programs to mitigate crop damage and loss throughout the growing season due to changing conditions and pressure related to pollination, pests, virus, and disease.
Following strict crop hygiene practices, we assess crops, interpret information based on data regarding chemical treatments, current biocontrol populations, pest levels, and give direction for action through reports and grower meetings.
We will help to lay a stronger foundation in management methods using the most effective and sustainable tools available and teach you how to maintain the best strategy moving forward.
Coast IPM was formed after the business owner identified a large gap in the agriculture industry in the lower mainland BC. To help bridge this gap, COAST IPM offers strategies to small and medium scale farms experiencing a lack of industry support and are looking for more sustainable solutions.
